Quando Bowie incontra gli Who: uscito inedito del Duca Bianco
Pubblicato l’inedito David Bowie “I Can’t Explain” cover di una delle prime canzoni a rendere celebre la band The Who
E’ stato pubblicato un inedito risalente al 1972 di David Bowie, ascoltabile sulle principali piattaforme di musica streaming. La canzone è “I Can’t Explain“, cover di uno dei primi brani della band inglese The Who.
Il brano è inserito nel nuovo cofanetto in uscita il prossimo 14 giugno e intitolato “Rock and Roll star”. La versione appena uscita fu registrata dal Duca Bianco durante le lavorazioni del quinto album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.
La versione in questione risulta più veloce e similare all’originale brano garage/pre-punk della band di Pete Townshend rispetto a quella che Bowie fece uscire nel 1973 nell’album “Pin Ups”.

IL box da cui è stato estrapolato il nuovo inedito sarà composto quindi da ben cinque CD ripercorrerà la prima carriera di David Bowie attraverso inediti, live, demos e registrazioni con mixaggi alternativi e diversi. Il box conterrà inoltre due libri con foto, appunti e vari documenti appartenuti al duca bianco. Sarà un vero e proprio tesoro per i numerosi fan dell’artista di perle come la celeberrima Heroes.
